Panel Submission
Rules and Information
If there are any questions, Contact Us!
- Keep all panels and events PG-13 unless marked otherwise.
- If mature content is going to be included, please mark as 18+ events. We take the safety of our younger audiences very seriously and we ask that you do the same.
- If your panels are intended to be for people under 18, please keep profanity to a minimum and all inappropriate videos/pictures are prohibited.
- Usually panels are scheduled in an hour period. If you require a longer or shorter panel time, please let us know so we can accommodate you.
- If you need any specific equipment, please let us know in advance in the form and we will do the best we can to make sure you have access to what you need.
- Unfortunately, outside technology is extremely difficult to connect to the College's network and projection systems. We recommend that all media such as music, PowerPoints, and videos be burned to CDs or saved on a flash drive, then we can give you access to school computers more easily.
- All panelists will have a staffer available to them that will help with crowd control, be their contact to management and be there at the panel to answer any questions the panelist may have.
- Panel Description on the form is what will go on the website and the convention booklet, so please fill that in accordingly. We at Jaycon reserve the right to edit the descriptions as we see fit.
- If you have been accepted you will be notified within one week of the application deadline.
- Panelists need to be pre-registered as an attendee before submitting a panel submission.
- Panelists that are chosen to host one panel will receive the discounted badge price of $10.
- Panelists that host two or more panels will receive a free badge.
- If you are submitting more than one panel, please submit a separate form for each panel.
